Natural resources (Part – 3)
Water
We know that a
large area of our earth is occupied by water. It can we say that approx 75 % of
our earth is occupied by water. Water is also found in the form of Ground
water. Water is also present in our atmosphere in the form of vapour.
Most of water of our earth is present in sea and ocean that water is salty, can not be used for drinking or other works of our life. In earth only a small amount water is fresh. This fresh water is present on glaciers and mountains in the form of snow.
One other source of fresh water is ground water. It is a big source of ground water. This ground water is in rivers, ponds and lacks. This ground water is widely used for drinking, irrigation and other things for our survival. The availability of fresh water is different on different place. In the rural areas where water system is not installed, the people have to do hard work to get water like as most areas of Rajasthan.

Water is most
important for human body. In our body all the activities occurs due to water. The
reactions of our body and cells occurs between substance that are dissolved in
water. Substance dissolved in water is also transported from one part to other
part of our body.
The density of any particular area for human and animal or plants depend on availability of water.
The places where the enough amount of water is available, at that places the density of human, animal and plants per square kilometer is more because the things needed for our survival is easily available.
We need water for our survival, for irrigation and drinking water. The density of plants and animals are also more because water is needed for survival of plants and animals. Plants are most important part of our life. We need fresh air that comes from plants. We our country, in north east water availability is more so the density is more in north east. In Rajasthan the availability of water is very less so the density of human, plants and animals is lesser than the north east areas.

Water pollution
In the modern days we are using different types fertilizers,
chemicals in our crops. That chemicals dissolved in water pollute our water
resources. That is used for different purpose of our life. When we use this
polluted water different types of harmful things occurs.

Cause of Water Pollution
1. Use of chemicals, fertilizers
2. Waste of factories, falls in fresh water resources
3. Waste water and waste material of our houses falls in fresh water resources by sever lines
4. Bathing in the rivers, ponds
5. Bathing animals in the ponds, and rivers
6. Throwing things in fresh water resources

Effect of Water pollution
It is very harmful to us. When we are using this polluted water for a time, we have under different diseases Like as fever, allergy.
