Method of Finding of Rational numbers
1. Find four rational number 2 and 5
Method First
Step 1. One is added in a number of rational number to be find like 4 + 1 = 5
Step 2. Multiply and Divide the number in both rational number
Like 2*5/5 and 5*5/5
so it can be written as
10/5 and 25/5
Now we can write the rational number in between these as 11/5, 12/5, 13/5, 14/5
Method Second
Step 1. Add both the rational number and divide by 2 . we find first rational number in between given rational numbers.
Step 2. Now add first given rational number and first find rational number and divide by 2. We will find another rational number.
Step 3. Now add second given rational number and first find rational number and divide by 2. We will find another rational number.
Step 4. Now we will continue this process as how many rational number to be find.
Sol. We know that there are infinite number of rational number in between two given number.
So we can write five rational numbers as 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 2.5
2. Find 5 rational numbers between 4 and 5
Sol. We know that there are infinite number of rational number in between two given number.
So we can write five rational numbers as 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 4.5
3. Find 4 rational numbers between 2/5 and 3/5
Sol. Convert these given rational numbers into decimal numbers
we get 0.4 and 0.6
We know that there are infinite number of rational number in between two given number.
So we can write five rational numbers as 0.41, 0.42, 0.43, 0.44
4. Find 4 rational numbers between 4/5 and 6/5
Sol. Convert these given rational numbers into decimal numbers
we get 0.8 and 1.2
We know that there are infinite number of rational number in between two given number.
So we can write five rational numbers as 0.81, 0.82, 0.83, 0.84

1. Find 5 rational numbers between 2 and 3Sol. We know that there are infinite number of rational number in between two given number.
