Problems based on number system using method 1

1). Find six rational numbers in between 4 and 5

Ans. One is added in 9 + 1 = 10

4 and 5 can be represented as 40/10 and 50/10

So rational numbers are

41/10, 42/10, 43/10, 44/10, 45/10, 46/10

2). Find six rational numbers in between 3 and 5

Ans. One is added in 8 + 1 = 9

3 and 5 can be represented as 27/9 and 45/9

So rational numbers are
28/9, 29/9, 30/9, 31/9, 32/9, 33/9

3). Find five rational numbers in between 2 and 3

Ans. One is added in 5 + 1 = 6

2 and 3 can be represented as 12/6 and 18/6

So rational numbers are

13/6, 14/6, 15/6, 16/6, 17/6

4). Find five rational numbers between 2/5 and 3/5

Ans. One is added in denominator 5 + 1 = 6
Divide and Multiply both numbers by 6

2/5 and 3/5 can be written as

12/30 and 18/30

So rational numbers are

13/30, 14/30, 15/30, 16/30, 17/30

5). Find five rational numbers between 3/5 and 4/5

Ans. One is added in denominator 5 + 1 = 6
Divide and Multiply both numbers by 6

3/5 and 4/5 can be written as 18/30 and 24/30

So rational numbers are

19/30, 20/30, 21/30, 22/30, 23/30

6). Find five rational numbers between 1/5 and 3/5

Ans. One is added in denominator 5 + 1 = 6
Divide and Multiply both numbers by 6

1/5 and 3/5 can be written as

6/30 and 18/30
So rational numbers are

7/30, 8/30, 9/30, 10/30, 11/30
